Garden Fireworks (or Category 2 Fireworks) are intended for use in restricted areas, eg large gardens. The British standard requires that all Garden Fireworks meet the following criteria
| Fuse Time | 3 to 13 seconds |
| Debris | No lit debris to fall below 3 metres ouside a safety distance of 3 metres |
| Labelling | All must be labelled according to BS 7114 |
| Viewing Distance | A minimum of 5 metres |
